08 Mar Recipe of flan of mascarpone cheese
Here we leave you a very tasty pastry recipe that has been given an innovative touch, including as the main element the mascarpone. It is very easy to prepare and it will not take you long. Here you have all the steps to prepare a flan of mascarpone cheese.
- 5 eggs
- 300g of mascarpone cheese
- 200g of sugar
- 500ml whole milk
- A few drops of vanilla essence
- For liquid candy
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of water
- Half lemon
Before starting to make the flan we will prepare our caramel, using a saucepan or a pan and pouring the sugar and water. We leave in the fire without stirring until the caramel begins to take a tan color and bubbles begin to emerge. That will be the right time to stir everything well with a wooden spoon. Remove from heat and add a few drops of lemon so that it does not crystallize. With this candy we will fill the base of our containers.
For the preparation of the flan, beat in a bowl the eggs and sugar with a stick until it is well integrated and its texture is frothy. Add the cheese to the mixture and continue integrating. We continue with the milk and vanilla essence, mixing again. We place our mixture in our containers.
With the oven preheated to 180ºC we place our containers on a baking tray, which we fill with water to half the molds. We bake for about an hour. We check if it has set by pricking, and failing to bake a few minutes.
We remove the custards from the oven and let them cool on a rack, to later introduce them in the refrigerator for a few hours, but if possible, leave them overnight.
