6 Easy desserts to sweeten Christmas

As we know that Christmas is time for family reunions, meals with friends and celebrations in general. We wanted to make it a little easier!!! Here we leave you 6 simple and exquisite desserts with which you will surprise your guests.

Creamy yogurt and mascarpone

Ingredients for 6 people
• 500 gr Greek yoghurt
• 100 gr mascarpone cheese
• 50 gr of glass sugar
• 8 Digestive type cookies
• 1 mango
• half a lemon juice
• 100 gr of sugar

Preparation

Grind cookies and set them aside. Mix the mascarpone cheese with the Greek yoghurt, add the sugar glass and beat all with the sticks until you get a creamy mixture.
On the other hand, peel and chop the mango, mash it adding the half a lemon juice and sugar if necessary (depends on how sweet the mango is).

Serve in glass cups a layer of crushed biscuits, a layer of the creamy mixture of Greek yoghurt and mascarpone cheese, and finally the mango. Let it cool in the refrigerator for 30m approx.
Decorate with a few mint leaves and berries and now it’s ready to present on the table.

Cream of mascarpone and raisins

Ingredients for 6 people
• 200 g of raisins
• 1 glass (water size) of Pedro Ximénez
• 200 gr of Mascarpone cream
• 5 eggs
• 500 gr of Mascarpone cheese
• 100 gr of sugar
• Salt

Preparation
Soak the raisins in the wine for 24 hours.
Separate the yolks from the whites. With a few rods, mount the yolks with half the sugar until they have a point of relief. Perform the same operation with the whites until they are white and foamy. Add the rest of the sugar and continue beating until you get a smooth and shiny meringue.
Mix the yolks with mascarpone cheese and add the meringue, without removing excessly. Present it in glasses, add several layers – one of raisins and another of cream- and cool it in the refrigerator 30 m. If you prefer you can also substitute Mascarpone cream with sweetened yoghurt.

Ingredients for 6 people
• 10 soft sponge biscuits
• 3 eggs
• 250 gr of Mascarpone cheese
• 60 gr of sugar
• 100 gr of sugar???
• 100 ml of water
• 50 ml of strawberry liqueur
• Red colorant
• strawberries

Preparation
Preparation of the cream: separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with 30 g of sugar to whiten them. Pour the egg whites to the point of snow and add the other 30 g of sugar.
The next step is to carefully mix the yolks with the Mascarpone and meringue and reserve the mixture.
Prepare a syrup with 100 gr of sugar and 100ml of water, add the strawberry liquor and let it templar.
To finish: put a base of biscuits and soak them with the syrup. Cover with half the cream and repeat the operation as many times as you want. Then smooth the surface and let it cool in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Mix the sugar with the dye and sprinkle the cups, then decorate with some strawberries.

Cup of mascarpone with berries

Ingredients for 4 people
• 150 gr of creamy yoghurt
• 1 terrine of mascarpone cheese
• 4 tablespoons of glass sugar
• 200 gr of berries

Preparation
Put the yoghurt in a bowl and add the sugar glass, mascarpone cheese and beat all the ingredients.
Fill a few cups with the cream of cheese and store it in the refrigerator to cool 30m.

For the red fruit sauce: put the fruits to heat, add a little sugar and let it boil for about 5 minutes. Stick it to avoid the fruit nuggets
You can leave whole red fruits or mash them with the mixer. Water the glasses with the red fruit sauce and you are ready to serve.

Two cheese mousse with mango

Ingredients for 6 people
• 100 gr of Mascarpone
• 100 gr of cream cheese
• 100 ml milk
• 200 ml of liquid cream
• 3 sheets of gelatin
• 2 ripe mangoes
• 100 gr of sugar
• 1 tablespoon of grated lime
• 3 sheets of gelatin
• Saffron syrup
• 300 dl of water
• 300 gr of sugar
• Saffron

Preparation
For the mousse: soak the gelatine. Mix the cheeses, sugar, cream and milk until the flavors mix. Remove the gelatin and put it on the fire with a little water to dissolve and let it cool. Once it is cold, mix with the cheese and put it in the fridge.

For the mango cream: soak 3 sheets of gelatin. Peel the mangos and mash them with the sugar and lime zest. Undo the gelatin in the fire with a little water. Cool it and incorporate it into the mango cream. Leave it in the refrigerator.

Syrup: heat water with sugar. When it boils, add the strands of saffron and wait for the sugar to dissolve.

Presentation: serve 3 tablespoons of syrup in the bottom of each glass. Form two mousse balls and place them in the cup. You can decorate it with strands of saffron.

Yogurt Mousse with Violet Soup

Ingredients for 4 people
• 250 gr natural yoghurt
• 500 ml cream
• 2 sheets of gelatin
• Salt
• 2 egg whites
• 20 g of sugar
• 200 g of violet candies
• 50 ml of water

Preparation

For the mousse: soak the gelatine in cold water. On the other hand, beat the yoghurt with a pinch of salt. Heat the cream and dissolve the gelatin once it is drained. Gradually add the yoghurt to the mixture and let it cool.
Pour the egg whites until they are white and frothy. Add the sugar and continue beating until a smooth and shiny meringue forms.
Finally mix it with the yoghurts making wraparound movements. Let it set in cold.

Violet Soup: Chop the candies and mix them with water. Let stand 2 hours, until completely dissolved.
To serve it, fill the glasses with the mousse and cover it with the violet soup.
You can get a low-calorie dessert by using 0% natural yoghurts, 0% cream and substituting sugar for agave syrup
