10 Feb Green asparagus with bacon and melted cheese
A different way to prepare this healthy vegetable. Rich asparagus with bacon and melted cheese an interesting mix of textures.
- 12 green asparagus
- 12 slices of bacon
- Ground black pepper
- Grated cheese
- Extra virgin olive oil
Wash the asparagus and remove the hardest part. Cut the bacon strips in half lengthwise.
Season with a little pepper and salt the asparagus.
Take bacon and wrap the asparagus. You can wrap it with two strips of bacon, if you prefer. The bacon, in addition to flavor makes it juicier. Do the same with all the asparagus.
Place the asparagus in a dish in which you will have put a little olive oil. Sprinkle with a splash of oil, cover the entire source with cheese leaving the heads of the asparagus visible and are ready to be taken to the oven.
Enter the source in the central part of the preheated oven (if you forgot to preheat, nothing happens) at 250º C with upper and lower heat for about 12 minutes.
When you see that the asparagus is already cooked, you can remove it from the oven and serve hot.
