28 Feb Recipe of apple sponge cake with mascarpone
We return to bring recipes to our blog, and come back with an apple sponge cake with mascarpone that will give your breakfasts or snacks a touch of spectacular taste. With a good preparation we will get a juicy and tasty sponge cake.
- 150 gr. Of flour
- 220 gr. of sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 apple
- 1 lemon
- 250 gr. of Mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 envelope of yeast
- 1 pinch of salt
Before starting with our apple sponge cake with mascarpone, we preheat the oven to 180ºC, with heat up and down. In a bowl we separate the whites from the yolks. We put a pinch of salt to the clear and we mount them until they have caught the point of snow. We also leave the lemon zest and the juice of it ready.
We began to peel the apples and chop them into small dice. We add the squeezed lemon juice, and cover them with aluminum foil. We reserve
On the other hand, mix egg yolks with sugar until the mixture has turned a whitish color. We add the mascarpone cheese and the lemon zest and continue mixing until the mixture is homogeneous.
At this step, we sift the flour and the yeast and add it little by little, mixing well. We add the apple with the lemon juice, and finally the egg whites. It is important that they are incorporated little by little, making enveloping movements so that the mixture takes air and is juicier.
We put butter in our mold and pour the mixture over it. We bake the cake for approximately 40 min. To check if it is ready, we prick it with a sharp object, if it comes out clean. The cake is ready
