16 Jul Bacon, asparagus, cheese and tomato quiche
Have you ever made a recipe why you thought it was too complicated? Well, you will see how easy it is to make this quiche with asparagus and bacon, the result is perfect and delicious. A quick and easy option to prepare a healthy and tasty starter, and best of all, this savory cake is easy as well as delicious cold as well as hot.
1 sheet of broken dough of 250 g
200 g bacon
150 gr of green asparagus
2 cloves of garlic
50 g of grated cheese
Thyme on the branch
200 ml of cream
Pinch of grated nutmeg
Pinch of hot paprika
Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 180º. Spread the dough in a mold lined with parchment paper. Place a circle of parchment paper inside, on the dough, cover with dried vegetables (so that it does not rise) and bake 10 min at 180º.
Remove the paper and vegetables and lower the temperature to 160º. Cut the tomatoes into slices and place on a baking tray on parchment paper. Sprinkle with thyme, drizzle with oil and bake 15 min at 160º. Cool.
In a frying pan fry the green asparagus a little and remove, in the same pan brown the bacon with the crushed garlic. Drain and remove the garlic.
Place some tomato slices on the dough and leave others to decorate on top. Mix the cream, the eggs, the nutmeg, the paprika, salt and pepper with the bacon, and the grated cheese and mix. Pour over the cooked dough and bake 20 min at 160º
