Apple pie with greek yogurt

Today we bring you a delicious recipe for pastry such as apple pie. In addition, you can take advantage of our Greek yoghurts because they are part of the ingredients of the recipe. Do not miss it!


  • 4 medium eggs
  • 250 gr of sugar
  • 350 gr of Greek yogurt
  • 100 gr of flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 chopped apples
  • Lemon zest
  • Apricot or peach jam


To start, we put the oven to preheat to 18oºC. Meanwhile, in a large bowl we begin to mix the ingredients. We put the eggs and the sugar and beat until the mixture whitens. Then add the greek yogurt, flour, lemon zest, and baking powder.

On the other hand, we peel and cut the apples into very thin segments. Pour the mixture into a rack mold to which we have previously lubricated with oil or butter. The apple segments will be placed on the mixture.

The baking time will be approximately 50 min. To check if the cake is made, we use some sharp tool such as a toothpick and puncture on the cake. If removing the toothpick, it is clean, it means that the cake is finished.

When we take it out of the oven, let it rest a few minutes until it cools, and then we will paint the top part with peach or apricot jam.
