Create your own parfait
Who said that preparing a simple elaboration and that was sophisticated at the same time, were two concepts that do not go hand in hand? In this case, this does not happen. We can create our own elaborations of the parfait with few ingredients and that the result is very striking.
For this we start from the base of having a beautiful container. Some tubs or glasses resultones, as long as we have the size when serving a serving. The rest is to throw imagination. You can combine it the way you like it, adding or removing ingredients, putting more or less layers, but always using a good yogurt as a base for the preparation.
The elements that you can add to your parfait are multiple, but here are some ideas:
- Fruits: If possible, buy the seasonal ones, which will be the ones that give more flavor to your preparation. Combine them to your liking: red fruits, strawberries, banana, mango, kiwi, apple, figs, etc.
- Cereals: Important to give us energy in the morning. The ideal would be to opt for whole grains: Oats, barley, quinoa, sesame seeds …
- Nuts: They will provide us with a good amount of proteins and healthy fats. Nuts, almonds, pistachio, peanuts are good choices.
- Add a sweet touch: You can also add the sweet touch, without passing, with some chocolate chips or a little honey.
To give the final touch, we advise you to leave your preparation in the fridge or even a little in the freezer, to get a better texture and to keep the different layers firm. Finally, we give you some examples so you can create yours:
