Spaghetti carbonara, with our cream “Crème Fraíche”.

The recipe we bring you today is one of the most typical, easy to reproduce and delicious. The time it should take you is 25 minutes, although if you already have experience you may take less. It is recommended to eat it the same day it is made, as the sauce contains eggs and can develop bacteria that are not beneficial to our organism. You can do it without eggs if thats a problem.

Ingredients for 2 people

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 4 thick slices of bacon (100 g)
  • 6 tablespoons of our “Crème Fraiche” cream
  • 2 eggs (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • ground pepper


This time the preparation consists simply of preparing the pasta and sauce separately.

First, put approximately 2 liters of water to boil and, when it begins to bubble, add a teaspoon of salt.

Then add the spaghetti to the water. We will have to stir them to prevent them from sticking to us and get them all cooked well. This should take us 10 minutes although the trick to know if the pasta is hard or soft is to try it. Based on that we will decide the cooking time. When it is ready, drain them.

After that, remove the rind from the bacon slices and cut them into cubes. At the same time, put the oil to heat in a flat casserole, when it is hot, add the cubes and fry them until they are golden brown. Then add them to the spaghetti.

To finish, beat the two eggs separately (your choice), add the cream, the Parmesan cheese (to your choice), a little salt (to your liking) and a little ground pepper. After this we can heat it a little in the microwave so that the sauce is somewhat hot.
