Creamed spinach recipe

Ingredients for 4 people

1 kilogram fresh spinach
250 g of crème fraîche Flor de Burgos
50 g grated cheese 3 cheeses Flor de Burgos
1 clove garlic
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Ground black pepper

Elaboration

Today we are going to prepare a rich and healthy recipe of spinach with cream. Very easy to elaborate and that everyone likes for its taste and texture.

The first thing we will do is put a large pot of water and heat it over medium heat. When it is hot enough, add the kilo of fresh spinach and a teaspoon of salt. Cook the spinach for 3 minutes over medium heat, after this time remove and reserve.

Peel the clove of garlic and cut it into thin sheets. Pour 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and when hot, add the chopped garlic, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to it, keeping it on medium heat. Let the garlic brown and drain the spinach. When the garlic is very golden, add the drained spinach. Remove well and let sauté for a few minutes and add a little salt and freshly ground pepper. At that moment add our crème fraîche and stir again to mix well all the ingredients. And cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes and turn off the heat.

Preheat the oven to 180º. We put in a suitable container for oven the mixture of spinach and cream and sprinkle with grated cheese. Gratinamos until the cheese is completely melted and we take the spinach from the oven. Serve hot.

With this easy recipe we make that the spinach is a dish more pleasant for all, and so that the smallest of the house are habituated to eat vegetables.
